The Year in Summary

We would like to thank everyone for their patronage during our first year at Treasure Island Marina and we hope that you had a great boating season! The Farmer’s Almanac was right, the weather was outstanding! As you all know a large amount of our time went into Driftwood Restaurant and next season we are hoping to improve services all around with more focus on the Marina. We will strive to achieve the results you expect as our experience increases. As always we would appreciate any and all feedback. Please contact us if you are not returning this season as we have a waiting list of new boaters.

News! The Good the Bad and the Ugly!

The Good......

We are very excited about the 2012 season; we have some great events and activities planned for our boaters. The annual garage sale will continue on the May long weekend. We hope to sponsor a car show on the grass this year with music and great food. We will open the upper deck for service and have breakfast service on weekends. Other ideas surfacing include a wood burning pizza oven, an outdoor barbeque and even thoughts of a pig roast.

The farmers market is coming as Tamara workings out the details. We have had great responses from local farmers to participate. Fresh vegetables can be purchased before you head out for the day.

The Bad............

We will no longer be accepting deposits for slips as we are streamlining the invoicing processes and moving towards an annual fee. Rates are going up this year but only marginally. Annual rates increase overall by $2.00 per foot while summer mooring only rates increase by $4.00 per foot. The Annual rates provide mooring, winter storage, haul out and launch. Payments will be required in 2 installments, one on March 15th and the second on October 1st. Summer mooring fees are due March 15th in full.

And the Ugly.....................

If you wish to pay by Visa or Mastercard, there will be a 1.6% levy on top of your total payment. Our Visa charges were off the charts last year. E-mail transfer is a great option with no user costs. Not sure how E-mail transfer works? Ask your bank or check on their webpage. Example: Click on Transfer money then send money. It’s fast and easy. New rates for 2012 are also posted on the webpage.

The OMOA approved mooring agreement / license must be signed by each boater with all the appropriate information on it prior to launch. If you wish to contact us between now and April 1st, e-mail is preferable:

Past News

August 2011 (Download printable PDF version)

The summer is flying by and it has been a great season for us at Treasure Island Marina with wonderful weather, the Farmer's Almanac was right!  We have made some improvements to the property focusing mainly on the restaurant and we continue to plan for further growth and enhancements.

Driftwood Restaurant at Treasure Island
As you may know the restaurant is now open and it has taken a large portion of our time however, processes are running smoothly and now we will be able to focus more on the Marina.

Poker Run 2011
The poker run was a great success for the Marina and the Restaurant. Gas sales were off the charts as we are one of the few Marinas in the area that sells Premium 92 grade gasoline.
Special thanks to Galen and Devon for the outstanding service they provided to our visitors.  These guys are the BEST!

Haul and Winter Storage
It's time to start thinking about storing your boat for the winter and we would like the opportunity to maintain your boat here at Treasure Island Marina.
Attached find the rate sheet for 2011.
The new maintenance programs are included in the attachment. Simply let us know what you need done and we will look after the rest.
Why store your boat at Treasure Island Marina?

  1. Convenient – We were the first Marina to have all our boats in the water this spring. If you are storing outside the Marina you are on a waiting list to launch.
  2. We have a dedicated team of 4 professionals that will handle all work and all work is completely guaranteed.
  3. We are adding web based security camera so that you can view your boat from anywhere.

Docks & Slips for the Fall Newsletter
We have had a great season on the docks with full occupancy. Thank you sooo much for your continued patronage. The waiting list continues to grow and we hope to have a great season next year as well.
